Gregory Myrick
His craft was fine-tuned
while living in Key West,
Florida, but Savannah has
provided great inspiration
for his original water paints
and prints. He ran an art cart
in Johnson Square
downtown for more than 20
years.

Jamal Toure
Toure utilizes the rich heritage of the Gullah Geechee culture to enhance his southern coastal
tours. From poking fun with his passengers, to interjecting little tidbits of the Gullah Geechee
dialect, to reminiscing of by-gone black communities, Day Clean is a historic journey that makes
passengers hard and fast new family additions forever.
Day Clean Journeys was born out of Toure’s burning desire to help the public recognize the
greatness that the Creator has placed in each of us.
The tours enlighten, inform, and inspire through the use of sound, sight, feeling, and taste. Toure
connects Savannah to the world. The type of tours offered range from African American and
regional historic, folklore, and lunch and dinner tours. He provides tours, presentations, and
lectures.
Following one of Toure’s tours, he witnessed many passengers crying, after being spiritually
awakened by the healing powers of the Almighty revealed. The tours are offered in Savannah, St.
Helena, and St. Simon, Georgia, Charleston, South Carolina, and beyond. For African Americans
in particular, understanding your history, your accomplishments, your true connection to the
Creator, will change your life.
“Taking our tour today, allows us to pass on this healing knowledge to others tomorrow,” Tour
declared. Experience a life-changing Day Clean journey, pick-ups are
l:00pm and 3:05pm daily at the Savannah Visitor’s Center, 301 Martin Luther King Boulevard. Call
